Frison (Pishon) River

Pishon
The Frison or Pishon River is cited in the Book of Genesis as as one of four rivers flowing out of Paradise, along with the Tigris, Euphrates, and Gihon (Nile). It has never been clearly identified, although it is sometimes associated with the Ganges.
This toponym does not appear in the poem, only on the maps accompanying it.
