Mine

Modern name
Badis/Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera
Modern country
Morocco
Originally a rocky island, today Mine/Badis is a peninsula known as Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera along the coast of northern Morocco. It is presently under the control of (Spanish) Melilla, even though Melilla is over 100 kilometers away. Fun fact: the Spanish-Moroccan border at Vélez de la Gomera is the smallest border section in the world (85 meters). Our association of Mine with Bedis is speculative, but the closest other possibility is Motzema and the relevant map in Urb2 contains both Mine and Motzema. Campbell #1788.
