Mount Sinai is generally a prominent feature of La sfera Map 8 (which shows the Levantine coast), while also appearing on Map 1 (a broad regional map of the Middle East). It is often depicted as a tall mountain at the southern end of a mountain range (either Mount Lebanon or the Arabian Mountains), with the ancient monastery of St Catherine's, Sinai, at its summit.
