The Tyrrhenian Sea is the section of the Mediterranean roughly bounded by the western coast of Italy, the northern coast of Sicily, and the islands of Sardinia and Corsica. It is labeled as such in only 2 late Sfera manuscripts (see also Adriatic Sea).
