The toponym Arabian Mountains appears on a small group of Sfera maps labelling a north-south range between Mount Lebanon and Mount Sinai; as such it corresponds to the present-day Transjordan Range. It is not in the same place as the Montana Arabie or Montana Arabie Felicis that appear on later 15th-century Ptolemaic maps, which run east-west the north of the Arabian peninsula between the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea.
