A bay along the Libyan coast now known as the Gulf of Sidra (between Misurata and Bernico), the Sfera maps label the Gulf of Misrata variously as the Gulf of Tim (most commonly), the Gulf of Misurata, or just Golfo. Campbell #1624–1625.
This toponym does not appear in the poem, only on the maps accompanying it.
