A port or defensive point on the southwest coast of Asia Minor, between Macri and Alto Luogo, possibly at or near the site of modern Emecik, Turkey. Note the Italian leanings of certain scribes who have copied the toponym Messi as the more familiar (to Italians) Messina. Messi (Asia Minor) is also different from Messa (Morocco).
