Tolometta was a port town in eastern Libya, about 110 km east of Benghazi. Its name is connected both to the ancient city of Ptolemais and the modern town of Tolmeita, on the same site. Like Berenice (Dati's Bernico), Ptolemais had been one of the 5 cities of the ancient Libyan Pentapolis. Campbell #1605.
